Hello everyone,
My name is Kyle Ruth and I am from Iowa City, home of the Iowa Hawkeyes in south eastern Iowa. I am now a Senior at the “other” school in Iowa, Iowa State University, where I am double majoring in Agricultural Business and International Agriculture with a minor in Animal Science. I just completed my second two year term as an American Junior Simmental Association Trustee and currently serve as the Iowa Junior Simmental Association President.I began my show career at the age of four alongside my mom at the World Cattle Congress in Waterloo, Iowa, exhibiting a cow/calf pair. Ever since then, I have been hooked on the beef industry and agriculture as a whole. My biggest passion is the Simmental breed, and my family owns and operates 40 head of Simmental and SimAngus females. My parents Pat and Donna have been my greatest influences and supporters, and I gathered all of my knowledge about the beef business from them. I also have a younger sister, Katy, who attends the University of Northern Iowa as a Elementary Education major with a minor in sign language. She too has a passion for the cattle business and also enjoys exhibiting crossbred hogs as well.I am honored and excited to be associated with the Sure Champ brand and I am looking forward to selling and representing the Vita Charge product. The product has worked great for our family’s operation and I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t work for any other progressive breeder’s feeding ration. If you have any questions or would like to talk cattle feel free to contact me at kruth@iastate.edu or (319) 430-0115.

Have a great day,

Kyle Ruth
