Hey everyone!
I am Jamie Baumgardner and am currently one of two Sure Champ sales interns for the summer. I’m originally from Carrier, Oklahoma, a very small town in the northwestern part of the state. Two years ago I found my home away from home in quite possibly one of the best towns in the state, Stillwater! Yes, I am an Oklahoma State Cowboy through and through. This coming fall I will begin my junior year as an agribusiness and agricultural communications double major. At Oklahoma State I am very active in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR) Student Council and will also be serving as a CASNR Ambassador this coming year.
Agriculture has always played a huge role in my life. From riding on the combine with my dad, to public speaking through the FFA, and even showing pigs since I was about 7, you could say that I have been very fortunate to have a wonderful support system that has allowed me to stay involved in the agricultural industry. I can truly say the experiences I have had through showing livestock and being active in youth organizations has made me who I am today, and for that I am forever thankful.
I am extremely excited to be a part of the Sure Champ team this summer and look forward to traveling throughout the summer representing a great company! I hope to see and meet you all at all the cattle junior nationals this summer so make sure you come and stop by the Sure Champ booth!
Have a wonderful day!
Jamie Baumgardner
