Hello Sure Champ enthusiasts!
My name is Ryan Jones, and I am excited to be serving as a sales intern for Sure Champ this summer. I was 
born and raised in Ardmore, Oklahoma, located just north of the Texas border. I am a third generation agriculturist, so you can say it is in my blood. My family primarily raises Angus cattle, but my brother and I have our own club calf herd.
From the time I could walk, I was tagging along with my older sisters at lamb shows. It was natural for me to follow in their footsteps. I showed my first lamb at the age of six and my first calf at 10 years old. From the moment I walked into the ring, I was hooked. I have been fortunate enough to learn from various purebred and club calf operations. The real value from these experiences is the people I have met and the friends I have made along the journey, which is what fuels my passion for agriculture.
After graduating from high school, there was no doubt that I would be continuing my education and studying agriculture. I chose to stay close to home and attend Oklahoma State University, and it was one of the best decisions of my life. I graduated in May with a degree in Animal Science with a production option.
I am not sure if words than can properly express my excitement for this opportunity. My favorite things in the world are meeting new people, being able to catch up with old friends, and discussing livestock. I feel very fortunate that Sure Champ has a position for me! I can’t wait to hit the road this summer and learn from the amazing mentors here on staff and meet America’s finest youth at the various shows this summer. I look forward to meeting you all.
