On the first day of Christmas, my parents bought for me a new show goat.
I wasn’t sure what to do with the bleating, lonely goat.
So, on the second day of Christmas, I called up two good friends.
They came with some sound advice to lend.
On the third day of the Christmas, the goat still seemed alone,
So, my friends brought their three wooly lambs with really stout bone.
On the fourth day of Christmas, the show stock didn’t eat and drink the best,
My local BioZyme dealer set me up with four tubes of Vita Charge Gel to help eliminate their stress.
On the fifth day of Christmas, more friends joined the fun,
Three Hereford heifers and two show pigs – a down eared one.
By the sixth day of Christmas, the barn was getting full,
It was time to get a new trailer to pull.
On the seventh day of Christmas, we wanted to make sure the stock was feeling their best.
We put Sure Champ Cattle, Vita Charge Liquid Boost and Joint Juice to the test.
On the eighth day of Christmas, we could not get lax.
All the animals got a good rinsing and a bath.
On the ninth day of Christmas, we realized that life wasn’t a race,
Driving pigs, wrapping legs and clipping heifers all at a steady pace.
On the tenth day of Christmas, it was time to make some entries,
Wouldn’t it be nice if there were some discounts for these fees?
On the eleventh day of Christmas, it’s time to load and go,
There definitely isn’t anything better than a livestock show.
On the twelfth day of Christmas, our hard work paid off with some banners,
And we celebrate the birth of the One who really matters.
