This is a wonderful reminder to everyone who celebrated the Sure Champ® 40th birthday tour with us. As the tour comes to a close, we want to reflect on what an amazing year it has been and celebrate our products and the achievements of our exhibitors. However, as the quote above reminds us, part of celebrating 2025 means diligently preparing the Sure Champ family for 2026 and beyond.
Our Perspective
At BioZyme®, makers of Sure Champ, we know that staying in the show livestock space for 40 years deserves a celebration. Show livestock supplements often come and go as quickly as the trends they fulfill, often meeting a need for a short time. We don’t take it lightly that show livestock exhibitors, their families, and feeders rely on Sure Champ products to help them #preptowin. Sure Champ strives to produce products that are critical to the show livestock industry. From daily vitamins and minerals to supporting gut health and immunity, and providing joint support, as well as boosting appetite and hydration.
The Birthday Tour
To celebrate 40 years of the Sure Champ brand, the BioZyme team planned and orchestrated a 6-month-long Birthday Tour. The tour officially kicked off in June during the BioZyme Dealer Retreat at the company’s headquarters in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Then, the tour traveled across the country, attending more than 2 dozen junior nationals, state fairs, and other youth livestock events. Its final stop is during the Arizona National at the year-end.
During the tour, the BioZyme team engaged with youth, parents, advisors, and breeders about the products. Thousands of celebration T-shirts were distributed, along with other items, including Sure Champ-branded buckets, sunglasses, party hats, and stickers.
Additionally, the Sure Champ Birthday Tour included both fun and education for all ages. We hosted birthday parties featuring cupcakes at several stops and spoke with numerous young exhibitors and passionate parents about what Sure Champ meant to them. Youth had the chance to make slime while learning about the ingredients in our quick-response gels – both educational and fun.
Finally, two long-standing products, Sure Champ® Cattle and Sure Champ® Appetite Plus® Gel, received a birthday makeover. For a limited time, they were made with birthday cake flavoring and in commemorative packaging for the milestone event.
Celebrating Our Customers
Perhaps one of the most exciting aspects of the Sure Champ Birthday Tour included celebrating our many customers and their successes. For instance, 80% of champion females at the five junior nationals we attended fed either Sure Champ or VitaFerm® products. We are extremely proud of these individuals. Furthermore, at least 60% of the exhibitors at four junior nationals use at least one Sure Champ product.
“We use the [Sure Champ] Cattle Drench every day. It keeps our cattle balanced out, helps out with their gut, and really makes a difference. I have to give a big shout-out to BioZyme for making such a great product,” said Tyler Loudon, Iowa, who exhibited several Maine-Anjou champions.
The Grand Champion Charolais Bred-and-Owned Bull exhibitor Josi Schrader is also a big fan of Sure Champ products. “We start them on Liquid Boost leading up to the show. It helps them keep drinking and stay healthy and happy the entire time there,” said the young Kansan.

As we conclude our Birthday Tour, our team is already looking forward to great things for the Sure Champ brand in its 41st year. We know that champions don’t just happen.
